Circuit Court for Baltimore County Home Studies
Home Studies are defined by Maryland Rule 9-205.3(b)(5) as an, "inspection of a party’s home that focuses upon the safety and suitability of the physical surroundings and living environment for the child." The assessment is carried out by the family services division of the Circuit Court for Baltimore County. Home Studies are often carried out at the Scheduling Conference. They are helpful in determining what Physical Custody Arrangements serve the Best Interests of the Minor Child.
